If you have a sincere desire to succeed in the hospitality career, the College of Southern Idaho's Hospitality Management program option has designed a course of study to assist you in reaching your specific goals. You may earn an AAS degree in Hospitality Management. An additional emphasis in restaurant management and/or lodging are also available. Please contact Dianne Jolovich, the Program Coordinator, to indicate your interest or to ask more questions concerning the program. She will also assist you in filling out a class schedule.
Steps to Follow for Enrollment
- Take the Compass Test. Make an appointment in the Academic Development Center on campus to take the Compass test (call extension 732-6532). The test takes approximately two hours. After you have finished the test, it will be scored immediately. Take your test results back to your counselor, who will discuss your scores.
- Counseling Center (Taylor Building) interview. You may make an appointment by phone (extension 732-6250) to see a CSI counselor. They will ask you questions about your previous education, experiences, and your career choice. You will then be referred to the next step.
- Interview with Program Coordinator. Make an appointment to meet with the program advisor, Dianne Jolovich. She can be reached at extension 732-6407, or leave a message for her to contact you. She will be happy to answer any questions you may have concerning the program.
- Admission forms. You are now ready to apply for admission into the college. You may also wish to apply for financial aid. Don't waste time in filling out all of the forms in order to avoid complications and disappointments at a later date. Financial aid forms must be filled out in plenty of time to process them prior to registration.
Registration. Open registration is available anytime during the summer. Final registration is held the week prior to the beginning of classes. Students register alphabetically. Watch the newspaper or call the Information office for registration schedules or for other information.
